For nearly a quarter of a century, WWE's annual "Survivor Series" has provided several memorable and controversial moments...(ahem Montreal ahem). However, this year provides one of the most intriguing cards in recent memories with unpredictable title matches and fun elimination contests.
Anyway on to the predictions:
Team Melina (Melina, Eve Torres, Mickie James, Gail Kim, and Kelly Kelly) vs Team McCool (Michelle McCool, Jillian Hall, Beth Phoenix, Alicia Fox and Layla):
Christ, I don't care about this match...roughly half of the participants can't wrestle a lick and the other half will be straining to carry the load. I predict that Team Melina gets the win with Melina and Mickie James being the sole survivors.
Team Miz (The Miz, Jack Swagger, Sheamus, Dolph Ziggler, and Drew Mcintyre) vs Team Morrison (John Morrison, Shelton Benjamin, Evan Bourne, Matt Hardy, and FInlay):
The program involving this match has been that Team Miz can't get along. Which means that it will be a clean sweep for Team Morrison...meaning that all of Morrison's team will be survivors by the end.
Team Orton (Randy Orton, Legacy, William Regal, and CM Punk) vs Team Kingston (Kofi Kingston, Christian, Mark Henry, MVP, and R-Truth):
This match has the potential to be the most fun match of the night. Orton has been dropped a bit on the card...but Kofi Kingston has risen...which is beneficial for themselves and the company. I predict that Team Orton wins this round with Orton and Legacy being sole survivors.
Batista vs Rey Mysterio:
Turning Batista heel was one of the best decisions in recent memory. The character was becoming stale and needed to be shaken up. Not only that, but to put him in a program with a man incapable of being a heel in Rey Mysterio. This match will be quicker than anticipated with Batista getting a squash win.
Triple Threat Match for the World Heavyweight Title
Undertaker (C) vs Big Show vs Chris Jericho:
I love the team of Jerishow and if this is the beginning of their implosion...then it is sad but inevitable. There is a possibility of a Jericho upset...but I see Undertaker holding onto the strap for a while.
Triple Threat Match for the WWE Championship
John Cena (C) vs HBK vs HHH:
On paper, this is one of the most compelling triple threat matches in history. I honestly have no clue who is going to win. These are three men capable of bringing the house down with unpredictability. My gut says Cena, My Head says HHH, but my heart says (wants) HBK, I'm gonna go with my gut...Cena wins.
Those are my predictions, I will be watching the show with a bowl of popcorn and a buddy (Patrick Mcdaniel...youtube that shit)...looking forward to an exciting night.
