The WWE continues in October with a new concept...have three main event matches take place within "Satan's Structure"...otherwise known as the Hell in a Cell match. It may prove to be an exhausting endeavor...but certainly one that will be memorable.
So...on to the predictions
R-Truth vs Drew Mcintyre:
I have absolutely no opinion of this match...or even any knowledge of who Drew Mcintyre is. I am going to guess that because he is the heel and they want him to get over...Mcintyre gets the win
WWE Divas Championship
Alicia Fox vs Mickie James(c):
It is impossible to envision the overly green Alicia Fox beating one of the best female wrestlers on the planet...that means Mickie wins
WWE Intercontinental Championship
John Morrision (c) vs Dolph Ziggler:
This match was supposed to take place at "Breaking Point" after Rey Mysterio's suspension, but that idea was scrapped. Now these two young lions get to step in the spotlight and in an event where a rarely seen match may take the cake...these two will steal the show with a Morrison win.
WWE United States Championship
Kofi Kingston (c) vs The Miz vs Jack Swagger:
I like that WWE is making an effort to bring more credibility to the midcard titles. Kofi Kingston is an electrifying athlete who carries the title well. The Miz is a wonderful heel and Jack Swagger is a solid combination of the two. I predict that The Miz walks away with an unclean win in what should be an exciting match.
WWE Unified Tag Team Championship
Chris Jericho and Big Show (c) vs Batista and Rey Mysterio:
The team of Mysterio and Batista poses the most difficult threat to the reign of Jerishow. I don't think that it would send the right message to have the returning Batista and the recently suspended Mysterio win the championship against such a hard working and credible team...and I think that this feud will continue with Jerishow taking round 1.
Hell in a Cell Tag Team Match
Legacy vs DX:
Legacy officially arrived with their surprise victory at "Breaking Point" and DX has done a good job portraying broken old men battling for survival against the two young lions in Legacy. I predict that this match will be brutal...and that DX wins a hard fought match.
Hell in a Cell for the World Heavyweight Championship
CM Punk (c) vs Undertaker:
"Breaking Point" reminded us all of how WWE will never let the Montreal Incident go...and that they really have hopped on the CM Punk bandwagon. Taker should get his retribution and the World Title in this match...while there were ways for Punk to win a submission match...I just don't see him beating the Undertaker in a Hell in a Cell Match.
Hell in a Cell Match for the WWE Championship
John Cena (c) vs Randy Orton:
Their "I Quit" match at "Breaking Point" was the best match these two have ever had even though it was more of a torture scene than a match. This is another match in their canon that will be shocking in its brutality. I predict that Randy Orton gets an upset win but neither man will leave under their own power.
Those are my predictions...this event will not be pretty...but it will be memorable.
